1st Coggeshall Scouts Invites Suitably Enthusiastic Applicants for the Voluntary
post of Scout Leader or Assistant Scout Leader
A challenging and rewarding appointment, the Scout Leader is responsible
for the provision of Scouting in Coggeshall. Scouts belong to the most
famous Section in the Scouting family, and normally can join from Coggeshall
Cubs Pack in the six months leading up to their 11th birthday. They can
move to the next Section, Explorer Scouts, at the age of 14.
Previous Scouting experience is not essential, Coggeshall Scout Troop meets
on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm to 9pm during school term time only. There
are currently 24 Scouts, but the unit will close in 2012 unless an assistant
or new Leader can join our two current experienced Scouts Leader can be found.
Leader Training is provided, all we ask is your time and enthusiasm.
This voluntary post, with paid expenses, is normally for a period of 2-5 years
subject to agreement.

Auditor Required
We have a requirement for a new Auditor to sign off the Annual Accounts of Coggeshall Scout Group
and the Coggeshall Scout and Guide Executive Manager Committee. The Accounts are updated on a
regular basis and we are looking for a qualified Accountant to review and audit the accounts on an
annual basis.
