Jacob from 1st Coggeshall Scouts joined members from Silverend Scout at Prances as part of their JOTA-JOTI event. Talking to Scouts all over the world, finding out about their Sections and how the movement in other Countries work. Great event - thanks Dan (Silverend Scouts), see you again next year.

Scouts get their Chief Scout's Gold Award    (7/12/2012)

On 11th July 2012 three members of 1st Coggeshall Scouts gained their Chief Scout's Gold Award. Daniel Lynes, Jacob Donnelly and Marcus Hewitt all got the highest award possible within the Scout Section.

After completing all there required Challenge Award all three where presented the award from Clare Darch ADC Scouts, Braintree District.

Farewell Gary and Simon!    (7/12/2012)

On 11th July 2012, 1st Coggeshall Scout Group said goodbye to Gary and Simon as their Leader and Assistant Leader. After 15 years and many a camp Gary has hung up his scarf - but not for the last time, he still has the Essex Jamboree!

Parents and Group members turned up for a BBQ and fairwell get together, thanking both of them for the time and effort they have given over the years.
